Uki accommodation Tweed Valley in the Tweed Coast hinterland near Mt Warning in the Northern Rivers Region, Tropical North Coast of NSW Australia. Close to Gold Coast airport and within easy reach of Byron Bay.

Uki

Pronounced Yoo-Kye and located close to the base of Mount Warning ~ allow at least 2 hours to climb up and 2½ hours to climb down again. Please take plenty of water with you, wear suitable walking/climbing boots and remember to take enough film for your camera.

Situated on the southern arm of the Tweed River, the village of Uki was founded on timber-getting and dairying. If you look up from just about anywhere in the area you will see Mt  Warning towering over you. Today Uki is a community based on dairying, with a developing base of tourist accommodation and arts and crafts in the expanding residential small acreage.
